Spring Corners Card: You Brighten My Day

Hey there, crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a cheerful card that’s sure to bring a little sunshine to someone’s day! Using the Spring Corners bundle and the Floral Delight DSP, this card is perfect for sending a sweet message of brightness and positivity. Whether you’re letting a friend know they make your day better or sharing a pick-me-up, this card says it all with a burst of sunshine.

This card combines a lot of fun elements, all tied together by the Spring Corners bundle. I used the sunshine die cuts from the bundle, which is layered over a circle die cut, creating a bold and eye-catching focal point. The sentiment “you brighten my day” is a perfect complement to the sunshine theme and works beautifully with the cheerful yellow tones of the Floral Delight DSP.

For the background, I used the Floral Delight DSP in a soft yellow and white pattern that coordinates perfectly with the sunburst. To add texture and dimension, I also used the Textured Notes die set to add a subtle layer underneath the sun and sentiment. A few white embellishments tie the card together, bringing everything to life with just a little sunshine!

When using patterned paper like the Floral Delight DSP, consider pairing it with simple elements like a bold stamped image or sentiment. This allows the pattern to shine without overpowering the design. The key is balance, and using layers and die cuts like the Textured Notes die helps create a well-rounded design that still allows the paper to take center stage.
