Stampin’ Up! Garden Birdhouses Winter Birthday Card

Happy Monday! Today on my blog, I am excited to share a stunning card made with the Garden Birdhouses stamp set! I CASEd this card from Cindy Schuster, who shared it on the Stampin’ through the Catalog Instagram page back in September.

My card is slightly different than the one Cindy designed. I made mine a birthday card and absolutely love it!!!

I made two cards like this, and only had to die cut the image from the Christmas Pinecone dies once. I then cut apart the pinecones and leaves, arranging them to fit on both cards, peeking out behind the birdhouses. I used Sponge Daubers with Soft Suede and Soft Succulent inks to color the die cut piece.

To make it a bit more wintry, I left the roof of the red house white and then added some Wink of Stella! The sentiment is stamped directly onto the Basic White piece before I embossed.
