We’re nearing the end of October, which means I am getting ready for the Christmas season! But, I am still celebrating some fall birthdays, and made these fun cards using the Gorgeous Leaves bundle from Stampin’ Up!
The In Good Taste DSP provides such a great backdrop for this bundle, and all fall cards! The Timber 3D Embossing Folder also comes in handy for some additional texture (in this card, I used the Embossing Folder on the die cut Circle).
For this card, I used Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, and Pale Papaya for my leaf colors. I also threw in some Crumb Cake for some nice fall colors!!
MEASUREMENTS
Basic White Cardstock
- (THICK) 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored in half at 4-1/4″
- Scraps to stamp and die cut Leaves
In Good Taste DSP
- 4″ x 5-1/4″
Crumb Cake Cardstock
- ~2-1/4″ square to die cut Circle
- Scrap for Sentiment
The “Happy Birthday” sentiment came from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set. I use this sentiment a lot because I like that it’s in a simple, clean line!
