Stampin' Up! Nuts About Squirrels Birthday Card

It’s no secret that I tend to lean towards the “cutesy” stuff in each catalog release… like the adorable Nuts About Squirrels stamp set! At my house, we see lots of squirrels – like, all the time. So, I knew I needed to get this stamp set to pay them homage!!

I made several of these cards for a card swap, and I think it is so perfect for fall birthdays! That squirrel is so stinkin’ cute with his acorn. The background paper is one of the fall themed patterns from the Beauty of the Earth DSP pack. It is perfect for these squirrels!

For the colors, I kept it very fall with a Cajun Craze cardbase and some Early Espresso. The acorn uses the Cajun Craze too, but it is stamped off once to stamp the main part (giving two different looks)!
