I am participating in a Challenge Blog for the first time ever called Paper Players. I’m so excited to share this card on their blog! This week’s theme is “Clean and Simple,” which means there should be a lot of “white space.”
I absolutely love playing with the Peace and Joy bundle, so I was happy to participate in this challenge using this bundle!
I love this color combination… instead of red, I chose to use Rococo Rose! I used the Stampin’ Write Marker to “color” the image instead of the ink pad, which is why it has that more rustic-y look. Measurements for this card are below!
Measurements
- Pear Pizzazz Cardstock: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ (score on long side at 4 1/4″)
- Whisper White Cardstock: 5″ x 3 3/4″; scraps for die cuts and cutting out smaller sentiments
Melissa, congrats on joining your very first blog challenge! How wonderful that it's The Paper Players, you'll always find tons of inspiration every week. Your card is a wonderful take on the CAS theme, with the embossed snowflake background and the dimension of the die cut sentiment! Thanks for joining us this week, I hope you'll be back soon!
A beautiful card for your first challenge, Melissa! I love the rustic look of your bold sentiment. The embossed panel is the perfect backdrop for it. Thank you for playing in my Clean and Simple challenge at The Paper Players this week! I hope you will join us again!
Simply stunning, love the embossed snowflakes. The soft stamped images are a great contrast. Thanks for playing with us at The Paper Players!
