Turtles are my absolute favorite animal, so the Sea Turtle stamp set is the PERFECT addition to my craft stash! I CASEd this card from the Mini Catalog, which stands for Copy And Selectively Edit. You can see the catalog sample below, and then compare it to mine to see what I changed!
On my card, I moved the colors around and did a Calypso Coral card base and then stamped the starfish in So Saffron. I also used a different die behind the turtle than the catalog designer did.
For the detailed square, I used the Deckled Rectangle dies. I ran it through my die cutting machine to get the full rectangle, and then ran it back through with the edge of the die closer, to make it into a square.
I don’t usually do square cards, but was inspired by the catalog to make this one square! I cut my cardstock at 8-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ then scored in half at 4-1/4″ to make it square. Have you tried a square card before?
