Stampin’ Up! Woolly Friends Fun Fold Card

This card was just plain fun to make! It looks sweet and simple from the front, but then surprise… it opens up in a totally unexpected way. I love cards like this — they feel special without being complicated, and they’re perfect when you want to send something a little extra.

This fun fold card features the Woolly Friends punch bundle, and the card base is Fresh Freesia. I added texture by embossing Fresh Freesia strips with the All In A Row embossing folder and adhering them down the sides of the card. It’s a subtle detail, but it really adds interest without stealing the show.

The center panel folds open to reveal the inside of the card, which makes this such a great design for happy mail or welcoming sentiments. The designer paper is from the Lovely and Beautiful DSP pack, bringing in those soft florals that pair so nicely with the sheep. The focal circle is die cut using the Spotlight on Nature dies. Along the bottom, I stamped grass and blended ink over it to ground the scene and keep everything feeling light and springy.

The sheep was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored in with stamped off Smoky Slate ink. I used the punch to cut the body pieces and bell out, then adhere those to the card over the sentiment. Such a cute baby card!!

Fun fold cards don’t have to be complicated to feel impressive. Keeping the colors soft and the layers simple lets the fold itself be the star.
