Welcome Home Card Featuring the Tags to Go Bundle

Hello, crafty friends! Today, I’m excited to share this stylish and simple card using the Tags to Go bundle, which is perfect for a “Welcome Home” greeting! Whether you’re sending well wishes to someone who just moved into a new home or simply want to send a warm, thoughtful note, this card is the perfect way to do it.

The combination of the Tags to Go bundle, Humble Home punch, Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder, and Around It All Dies makes this design come together beautifully, and I love how the key embellishment adds a special touch!

For this card, I started with a clean and classic black card base to make the design elements pop. The Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder was used to create texture and dimension on the background, which contrasts perfectly with the smooth, soft edges of the circle die-cut from the Around It All Dies. This circle serves as a subtle backdrop for the focal point of the card.

The Tags to Go bundle comes with a sentiment stamp that says “WELCOME HOME,” which I stamped onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. I then punched out the house with the Humble Home punch and layered it onto the circle, adding just the right amount of dimension.

To bring the card together, I used a small set of gold key die cuts, tied with blue twine for a touch of charm. It’s the perfect little accent for a homey card!

When adding texture to a card, especially a bold background like the one created with the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder, it’s important to balance it with simpler elements. Here, the smooth die-cut circle and the clean stamp image allow the textured background to shine without feeling overwhelming.
