Last week my team had a meeting and I was in charge of creating the Mystery Card! What is a Mystery Card? Basically, I designed a card and then told my team what supplies they needed. Then, during the meeting, I shared with them the instructions to make the card — without ever showing them a picture to base their design off of. Here is the card I created:
Get Well Card Made with a Mystery Card Challenge
Here are the supplies I told my team they’d need to complete this card: 1/2 sheet of cardstock for card base; 4 1/4 x 3″ piece of cardstock; 4 1/8 x 2 7/8″ piece of DSP; strip of cardstock for sentiment; coordinating embellishments; a background stamp OR patterned stamp to make a background; adhesives (including dimensionals); stamp set with a sentiment; ink pad in same color as card base; ink pad for sentiment (or, in my case, I heat embossed my sentiment).
Here are the instructions for completing this card:
1) Using the same color ink pad as your card base, stamp the background stamp on the card front.
2) Adhere the DSP panel onto the cardstock panel, and then adhere that to the card.
3) Stamp sentiment on strip of cardstock (trim if needed). Use dimensionals to adhere the sentiment onto the card.
4) Add the coordinating embellishments.
Even though you can view these images, I encourage you to use the supply list and directions above and make your own card — I’d love to see what you create! My card features the new Bumblebee cardstock, ink, and embellishments as well as the Flowers for Every Season DSP.
As always, you are able to shop these supplies in my online store, which is open 24/7. To go to my online store, CLICK HERE.
