Using a Sketch to Create a Card for Father’s Day

I love using a good card sketch to help me design my cards. Sometimes when I know I want to use a certain stamp set, or show off a good piece of DSP, it’s nice to use a sketch to help inspire me! Sketches contain all of the measurements for you, so you just need to cut and put it together! Here’s an image of the final card I created:

My team recently had a challenge to use the card sketch below to create a card. I used the sketch to create a Father’s Day card for my dad, and showed off two of the new In-Colors: Misty Moonlight and Cinnamon Cider.
Along with the new In-Colors, I also used some of the In Good Taste DSP, the Best Year stamp set, and the new In-Color Enamel Dots (those embellishments can really dress up a card)! Luckily my dad doesn’t use social media, so I don’t have to worry about him seeing this card a few days early. Hopefully it has inspired you to create a card using this same card template!
