Purse Card with Florals in Bloom Suite

Hello, friends! Today, I’m sharing a cute and fun project: a purse card that was CASEd from a swap I received from the talented Cassie Lefler at OnStage. This purse card features the beautiful Florals in Bloom suite, including the Pretty Florals bundle and the Sweet Blooms bundle, and I just had to recreate it for you! It’s the perfect way to say “hello” or “thank you,” and it’s a fun, interactive design that will certainly impress your friends.

Handmade purse card featuring the Florals in Bloom suite with floral die cuts from the Sweet Blooms and Pretty Florals bundles. The card uses Flirty Flamingo cardstock, Florals in Bloom DSP, and gold accents.

The purse card is created with a base of Strawberry Slush cardstock and is embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder to add texture to the “flap” of the purse. For the front of the purse, I used the Florals in Bloom DSP to bring vibrant colors and florals to life, adding the perfect touch of spring and summer vibes.

The focal point of this purse card is the large flower and leaves, die cut from the Pretty Florals dies. These layered floral elements make the card stand out beautifully and really give it a “wow” factor.

I love that the card folds open to reveal so much, but it folds flat to fit in a regular envelope!

When creating a card like this with multiple layers, be sure to use dimensionals to pop up the floral pieces and create extra dimension. Layering with different elements like DSP, die cuts, and a stamped sentiment will give your card a more intricate and polished look.
