Just Breathe Card: Scenic Adventure Bundle

Hi there, crafty friends! I’m excited to share today’s card, featuring the Scenic Adventure bundle—a perfect set for creating calming and scenic landscapes. Whether you need a card to inspire someone to relax or just a peaceful scene, this set is a wonderful choice. I combined it with the Everyday Arches dies and some gorgeous Floral Delight DSP for a serene and nature-filled card that’s perfect for any occasion.

This card combines the beauty of the Scenic Adventure bundle with the texture and elegance of the Everyday Arches dies. The main focal point is the mountain scene, with soft greenery and delicate flowers. I used the dies to cut the mountain layers in Basic Beige, Calypso Coral and Old Olive, creating a stunning, peaceful landscape. The sentiment, “just breathe and take it slow,” is from the Scenic Adventure stamp set—such a perfect reminder for all of us to slow down and appreciate the calm moments in life.

The Floral Delight DSP adds a lovely patterned background to this scene. I embossed the Everyday Arches die on Early Espresso cardstock to create a stunning, textured arch shape that frames the scenic mountain landscape. For added dimension and texture, I used the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder on the arch die cut, giving the card an added layer of detail.

A touch of Flirty Flamingo baker’s twine and some fun embellishments at the bottom help finish off the design, adding just the right touch of warmth to complement the earthy tones.

When you want to create depth in your card, layering textures is a great way to do it. By embossing the Everyday Arches die cut piece and adding DSP, you create multiple levels of visual interest. You can also play with the placement of the flowers and greenery to make the card feel more dynamic and natural.
