Let the Journey Begin Card: Scenic Adventure Bundle

Hi crafty friends! Today I’m excited to share a card that’s perfect for anyone who loves the great outdoors. Featuring the Scenic Adventure bundle, this card evokes a sense of adventure and exploration. The beautiful die-cut trees, scenic background, and the sentiment “let the journey begin” make it ideal for sending best wishes to someone embarking on a new adventure, whether it’s a move, a new job, or just a fun journey ahead. Plus, the Everyday Arches dies and Woven Textures DSP tie everything together for a fresh, rustic look!

The Scenic Adventure bundle makes it so easy to create a beautiful nature-inspired scene. For this card, I used the Everyday Arches dies to create a window effect that frames the peaceful scenery. The background is stamped with a simple cloud image, providing the perfect backdrop for the forest of die-cut trees. I used a mix of Old Olive and Mossy Meadow for the trees, creating depth and dimension.

The fun little campfire from the Scenic Adventure bundle adds a warm and welcoming touch to the scene. I also used the Woven Textures DSP to add texture to the background, giving the card a rustic feel that complements the forest theme.

When creating scenic cards like this one, try using die cuts to add layers and dimension to your designs. The Everyday Arches dies work beautifully as a window for showcasing a scenic scene, but you can also create layers of trees, hills, or mountains to add richness to your design. Mixing textures, like with the Woven Textures DSP, will help give your card a tactile feel while still keeping the focus on your design elements.
