Cheers to Another Adventure Card: Scenic Adventure Bundle

Hello, crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a card that celebrates the spirit of adventure. Featuring the Scenic Adventure bundle, this card captures the beauty of the great outdoors. Whether you’re celebrating a new chapter, a milestone, or just embracing life’s journey, this card is perfect for sending some cheers! Plus, the texture from the Patterns of Friendship die and the stunning mountain scene create a perfect combination that’s sure to inspire anyone embarking on their next adventure.

This card starts with a textured background made with Basic Beige cardstock and the Patterns of Friendship die, which creates a beautiful striped pattern that adds depth and interest to the design. I then used Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Lost Lagoon, and Old Olive cardstocks to create the layered mountain scene using the Scenic Adventure bundle. The layering technique with these colors adds dimension and gives the mountains and forest a realistic feel.

The sentiment, “cheers to another adventure,” is stamped using simple, elegant fonts that complement the serene outdoors scene. I added a couple of textured embellishments to finish it off, keeping the focus on the stunning nature-inspired layers. The natural colors and textures come together beautifully, making this a perfect card for a friend, loved one, or even for a milestone event like a promotion or big trip!

To create depth in your scenes, don’t be afraid to mix multiple layers of color. The Scenic Adventure bundle allows you to stack different die-cut pieces of cardstock to give your mountain and forest scene a sense of dimension. Using a variety of colors, like Crumb Cake for the mountains, Old Olive for the foreground, and Pool Party for the sky, will make each element stand out.
