Can’t Wait to See You Again Card: Scenic Adventure Bundle

Hello, crafty friends! Today, I’m sharing a card that features a beautiful scenic design made with the Scenic Adventure bundle. This card is perfect for sending to someone you’re excited to reconnect with—whether it’s a long-lost friend, a loved one, or someone you’ve been missing. With its soothing colors, textures, and the serene mountain scene, it’s sure to bring a smile to anyone who receives it. Let’s dive into the details!

Handmade card featuring the Scenic Adventure bundle with a die-cut tree scene in Lost Lagoon over a watercolor square stamped with the Elements of Text stamp set in Pool Party. The background is Country Woods DSP with a sentiment heat embossed on Early Espresso cardstock.

This card starts with a stunning background using Country Woods DSP, which adds a rustic, earthy feel. I then created the focal point by adding a Textured Notes die cut in white, with a soft watercolor square made with Pool Party ink. The background was further enhanced with a stamped image from the Elements of Text stamp set, also in Pool Party, which creates a subtle texture.

The trees, die cut from Lost Lagoon cardstock, add a beautiful, tranquil touch to the scene. These trees are from the Scenic Adventure bundle, and they pair perfectly with the other layers, bringing depth and a natural element to the card. The sentiment, “can’t wait to see you again,” is heat embossed on Early Espresso cardstock, providing a beautiful contrast against the lighter colors.

To finish it off, I added a small bow in Lost Lagoon cording and a couple of embellishments for a little sparkle. The combination of elements creates a peaceful, nature-inspired design that’s perfect for any occasion when you want to express how much you’re looking forward to someone’s company.

When working with watercoloring, like the square I’ve used here with Pool Party ink, try using a stamped image or texture over it. This adds dimension and interest to your card without overpowering the design. The Elements of Text stamp set is a great option for creating these types of background textures. Keep your color palette soft to maintain a balanced, peaceful look, perfect for a serene mountain scene.
