The new Mini Catalog launched yesterday, and I had such a great time creating projects to share with you using some of the AWESOME new product! Today’s card is a birthday card, but could easily be adapted to any other sentiment. This card mainly uses elements from the Love You Always suite (pages 10-13 of the new Mini).
I absolutely LOVE this suite! It’s great for Valentine’s Day (coming soon – eek!), but I also love how you can change out the sentiment to apply to multiple occasions: happy birthday, thank you, hello, thinking of you, etc.
I love all the detail in this card. Look at the cute black heart border! It is so darling. I used Rococo Rose Blends to color in the flowers (from a sheet of DSP), and used them to color in the rhinestones too. I love how something so small can really add to a card! This is definitely a card I want to make dozens of. I love it!

Rococo Rose Cardstock
- 11″ x 4-1/4″ scored in half at 5-1/2″
- Scrap for sentiment (mine measures 2-1/4″ x 5/8″)
- 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″
- 5-1/4″ x 1″ for heart border
- Scrap for punch behind sentiment (at least 2-1/4″ x 1-1/4″)
- Flowers: 5-1/4″ x 3″
- Stripes: 5-1/4″ x 1″
