Earlier this month, I found out that my Dentist who I’ve seen my whole life is retiring just three weeks before my next visit. Big bummer! When I heard, I KNEW I wanted to make him a dentist-themed card using the brand new Handsomely Suited suite (more specifically the dies). I’m excited to share that card with you today!
I modeled this card after a typical dentist outfit: white coat, blue scrubs, a name tag, and of course I had to add in some dental floss (see the pocket)! This card was made using the Handsomely Suited suite (the Suit and Tie dies) on pages 66-67 of the Mini Catalog. I also crafted the name tag using the Senior Years name tag on page 107 of the Annual Catalog.
Seaside Spray Cardstock
- 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored in half on the long side at 4-1/4″
- 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
- Scraps for the buttons and pocket (at least 1-5/8″ x 1-1/4″) – I used the “v” cut out from the shirt to die cut both the buttons and pocket
- Optional: 5-1/4″ x 4″ for inside of card
- Cardstock for sentiment (aka name tag), mine measures 1-5/8″ x 1/2″
