Stampin’ Up! In The Pines Window Frame Christmas Card

A few months ago, I saw a demo create a window using the Rectangle Dies and the Best Plaid Builder Dies. When I saw her demo, I knew I wanted to create a Christmas-themed card using these same supplies. I decided to pair it with In the Pines and Fireside Trimmings to create this super cute card that reminds me of home!

The card is supposed to give a vibe of looking out your window on a cold, winter night. Where I live, we can see several trees out of all of our windows (although they’re not necessarily pine trees!). All of the Measurements for this card can be found below.

Measurements

  • Early Espresso Cardstock: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ (score in half on the long side at 4 1/4″); scraps for die cutting rectangles (at least 4″ x 2 5/8″); scrap for the window panes (die cut with the Plaid Dies)
  • Crumb Cake Cardstock: 5″ x 3 3/4″
  • Poppy Parade Cardstock: 2 1/4″ x 5/8″ for sentiment
  • Night of Navy Cardstock: 3 1/2″ x 2 5/8″
  • Whisper White Cardstock: 2 5/8″ x 3/4″
  • Pear Pizzazz Cardstock: Scraps for die cutting tree and garland
  • Old Olive Cardstock: Scraps for die cutting tree details
This card uses more pieces to assemble than I usually like to do, but I knew how I wanted it to look and I am so happy with the outcome!
