Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Christmas Card

The Poinsettia Petals bundle from Stamping’ Up! has quickly become a favorite of mine. I love the simplicity and the elegance – and, the relevance to the season. I’ve certainly grown up with a poinsettia or two in my home every Christmas and know many others have as well!

I CASEd this card from Manda Moore on Pinterest and changed it up to use products I already had on hand. I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! And did I mention that I used velvet paper for the poinsettia’s leaves? Swoon!

Measurements

  • Thick Whisper White Cardstock: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ (scored on the long side at 4 1/4″)
  • Whisper White Cardstock: 5″ x 3 3/4″
  • Cherry Cobbler Cardstock: 3 3/4″ x 1 1/2″
  • Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper: 3 3/4″ x 1 3/8″
  • Red Velvet Paper: Scrap for poinsettia leaves
  • Shaded Spruce Cardstock: Scrap for leaves
  • Old Olive Cardstock: Scraps for leaves
  • Brushed Metallic Cardstock: Scraps for leaves
I used the dies within this bundle to create the texture on the flower and leaves, rather than the stamp set. I love how it turned out!

Look at the beautiful detail on the flower! I curled the leaves just a bit to allow it to pop out more. I think it turned out super pretty!
