Happy Monday and welcome to August! Today, I am sharing an adorable sailboat card that I made with the Sweet Farewell stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I CASEd (Copy And Selectively Edit) this card from Erica Cerwin.
Isn’t it so adorable?! I love the idea of the ships passing in the night. Erica was so clever in using the Basic Borders dies to create a water scene! I made a couple of these cards so kept them pretty simple – and added the “Promise to Keep in Touch” sentiment.
I colored the sailboats using the 2021-2023 In Color Stampin’ Write Markers. The card pictured uses the Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia markers, and the other cards I made use Evening Evergreen, Pale Papaya, and Soft Succulent.
MEASUREMENTS
Balmy Blue Cardstock
- 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored in half at 4-1/4″
Basic White Cardstock
- 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Scraps to stamp and fussy cut Sailboats
- 2-5/8″ x 1/2″ for the Sentiment
Pacific Point Cardstock
- 4″ x 2″
