Sweet Bugs Bundle Card with Cute As a Bug DSP

I couldn’t wait to share this card because it just makes me smile! The Sweet Bugs bundle is one of those sets that feels playful and happy without trying too hard, and this little ant parade totally fits that mood. It’s bright, cheerful, and perfect for spreading a little joy to someone’s day!

This card uses the Sweet Bugs bundle paired with the Cute As a Bug Designer Series Paper, and both patterns on this card come from that same DSP pack. I love how the gingham and leafy prints work together — they feel fun without being busy. The card base is Old Olive, which grounds all the bright colors and ties everything together nicely.

The ants are stamped and colored with Stampin’ Blends, and that tiny pop of shading really brings them to life. The sentiment sits on a label die cut from the Beautifully Celebrated die set (I love these new dies!). To finish it off, I added Old Olive Rickrack tied around the center panel into a knot. That little bit of texture adds so much charm and feels very “cute bug” appropriate.

When you’re working with busy patterned paper, layering a solid label or sentiment panel on top helps give your eyes a place to rest and keeps the focal point nice and clear.
