CRAFT & CHAT – EPISODE 10
It’s time to get your Grinch on! If you’re a fan of all things Grinchy, you’ll love this Grinch-themed card that’s full of holiday cheer. Whether you’re sending this card to someone who’s as “hearted” as the Grinch or simply love the story of his heart growing three sizes, this card will definitely make a fun and playful statement. Let’s take a look at how you can make your own Grinch-inspired card using Stampin’ Up! products, with a heartwarming twist, of course!

This Grinch-themed card is as cheerful as the Grinch’s eventual change of heart. The card features a bold green embossed background, symbolizing the Grinch’s signature color. The center of this card is intended to look like the Santa “sweater” he wears in the first movie.
The layering of hearts here is a fun design choice that adds dimension and interest to the card. The hearts are stacked, one slightly larger than the other, symbolizing the Grinch’s heart expanding. A few black embellishments are added to give the card just a little extra sparkle—after all, the Grinch might have a mischievous side, but he just might a soft spot for a bit of bling!

When designing cards with layered elements, think about combining different textures and colors to create a sense of depth. In this case, the scalloped border, red hearts, and textured green background work together to create visual interest, and the pop of black embellishments adds that extra bit of fun and contrast.
