Crisp Cantaloupe Fun Fold Card with the Phrases + Frames Bundle

Okay, this one makes me a little sentimental… Crisp Cantaloupe coming back feels like seeing an old friend again! It was one of the very first colors I bought when I started card making, and getting to use it again in a brand new catalog just makes me so happy.

This card uses the Phrases + Frames bundle in a fun fold design that adds a little surprise when you open it. The base is Crisp Cantaloupe, and I added those beautiful textured side panels using the Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder. That soft floral texture paired with this color just feels so warm and cheerful.

In the center, I used Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper on the front panel, which brings in those soft florals and a hint of gold. The frame is die cut from Barely Blush and layered with a smaller Basic White oval for the sentiment, stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe. I love how soft and coordinated that looks without feeling flat.

To finish it off, I added a white baker’s twine bow for a little movement and kept the embellishments simple with Flower Accents that pick up the gold details in the paper. When you open the card, there’s a clean Basic White panel inside with a heartfelt sentiment, making it perfect for sending a little extra love when it’s needed most.

Fun fold cards don’t have to be complicated! Start with a simple base and add interest with textured panels or patterned paper — it gives you that “wow” factor without a lot of extra work.
