Soft Floral Birthday Card with the Phrases + Frames Bundle and New In Colors

This one is extra fun because the new catalog is officially live… which means everything you see here is now fair game to add to your craft room! And honestly, this card feels like the perfect mix of soft, pretty, and just a little bit fancy.

This card features the Phrases + Frames bundle paired with the brand new In Colors, and I am really loving this color combination. The base is Hydrangea Hue, and I added an embossed layer on top to give it that subtle texture that makes everything feel a little more finished.

For the focal point, I used a piece of Bloom Boutique Designer Series Paper in Golden Glow. The soft floral pattern keeps the card feeling light and fresh, while the die cut frame in Basic White pulls everything together. I ran the frame through the impressions plate to add that extra detail, and it really helps it stand out without needing anything complicated. The sentiment is stamped in Hydrangea Hue for a clean, coordinated look.

To finish it off, I added a piece of Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon for a little shine and some Shimmering Dots for just the right touch of sparkle. It’s simple, elegant, and perfect for a birthday card you want to feel a little special.

If you want your focal point to stand out, try adding texture behind it with embossing. It creates contrast without adding extra layers or bulk, which is especially helpful when you’re mailing your cards.
