Elegant Leaves Bundle Fall Thank You Card

There’s just something about fall colors that makes cardmaking extra fun! This week I’m featuring the new Elegant Leaves Bundle, and I love how this first card brings together those warm, cozy shades without feeling too dark or heavy. The mix of Cajun Craze, Timid Tiger and Golden Glow is such a pretty combination for fall cardmaking!

I started with a Cajun Craze card base and added a layer of Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper. The floral pattern gives the card plenty of interest before we even get to those beautiful leaves!

For the center panel, I embossed Pecan Pie cardstock with the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder. I really like the subtle texture it adds behind the stamped images. The leaves from the Elegant Leaves Bundle were stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Cajun Craze, Timid Tiger and Golden Glow inks. Using three different colors gives the arrangement that pretty mix of changing fall leaves.

I added a Linen Thread bow to the card for a little extra texture. The “grateful for you” sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink onto a Crumb Cake banner (from the Stylish Shapes dies), and a few of the new Gold Dots were the perfect finishing touch. They add just enough shine without taking attention away from the leaves.

When you’re creating a cluster like this one, try repeating your colors in more than one spot. Having the Cajun Craze, Timid Tiger and Golden Glow leaves scattered throughout the arrangement helps everything feel balanced, even when the leaves are layered in different directions.
