Finding Happiness with the Silly Old Bear Suite

There’s just something about Winnie the Pooh and friends that brings a smile to your face! This card features one of my favorite characters, Tigger, and I couldn’t resist turning him into a fun interactive element. It’s a clean and simple design with just enough detail to let that adorable little tiger steal the show!

The Silly Old Bear Suite includes two coordinating bundles: Sweet Old Friends and Sweet Words + Labels, and they work beautifully together. I started with a Crumb Cake card base, then layered Basic White onto Early Espresso cardstock for a classic, warm color combination. The decorative frame and sentiment were stamped in Early Espresso ink, and I lightly blended Crumb Cake around the outside of the frame to give it a soft, vintage look.

The tree stump was die cut from Early Espresso cardstock, creating the perfect perch for Tigger. After stamping him in black ink, I colored him with Timid Tiger Blends, die cut him, and attached him with a wobble spring (affiliate link). It’s such a fun surprise when the recipient taps him and he starts to wiggle! The wobble flattens, so the card still mails easily. I finished everything off with a few Earthy Matte Dots for a simple finishing touch.

Interactive cards don’t have to be complicated! Adding a wobble behind a single focal image is an easy way to create a memorable card without changing your basic card design or making it bulky for mailing.
