Radiant Sunflowers Card with Torn Paper and Fall Colors

I’m back with another card using the Radiant Sunflowers Bundle, and this one definitely leans into those rich fall colors! I love the combination of Early Espresso, Golden Glow, Pecan Pie and Cajun Craze. And instead of stamping the sunflowers this time, I let the dies do all the work!

I started with an Early Espresso card base and added another layer of Early Espresso cardstock embossed with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder. Using the same color for both layers keeps the background from competing with everything else, but that big sunflower texture still adds so much interest.

For a little extra color, I tore one edge of Cajun Craze Two-Tone Cardstock and layered it behind a piece of Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper with a torn edge of its own. I love that little bit of uneven white showing along the DSP — sometimes it’s the smallest details that make the biggest difference!

The sentiment from the Radiant Sunflowers Bundle is stamped in Early Espresso ink onto a Basic White label cut with the Nested Essentials Dies. Then I die cut three sunflowers from Golden Glow cardstock with Pecan Pie centers. Both the flowers and sentiment are popped up with Dimensionals, and a few Radiant Gems finish off the card.

If your card has a lot of texture and pattern, try repeating one dark neutral throughout the design. The Early Espresso card base, embossed background and stamped sentiment help tie all of the brighter fall colors together without adding another competing element.
