Simply Leaves Thank You Card with Golden Glow and Cajun Craze

I have another Simply Leaves Bundle card to share, and this one is giving me all the cozy fall feels! Golden Glow and Cajun Craze are such a pretty combination, and the gingham Designer Series Paper makes a perfect backdrop for those simple punched leaves.

This is also a great example of how you can get a little more mileage out of Two Tone Cardstock by using both sides on the same card!

I started with a Golden Glow card base and added a layer of the In Color Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper in Golden Glow. I love how the gingham adds a little pattern while still keeping the card clean and simple.

The sentiment from the Simply Leaves stamp set is stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Basic White cardstock. I layered that onto Crumb Cake cardstock and adhered the whole piece to the card front with Dimensionals.

For the focal point, I punched two leaves from Cajun Craze Two Tone Cardstock using the leaf punch from the Simply Leaves Bundle. One leaf uses the darker side of the cardstock and the other uses the lighter side. I stamped the leaf details in Cajun Craze ink, giving each leaf a slightly different look while keeping everything coordinated.

A Linen Thread bow adds a little texture right where the leaves meet, and a few Earthy Matte Dots finish off this easy handmade thank you card.

Don’t forget to use both sides of your Two Tone Cardstock! Using the light and dark sides together is an easy way to add contrast to your card while knowing the colors will coordinate perfectly.
