Soft & Sweet Floral Card with the Bloom Boutique Suite

Today’s card is soft, simple, and one of those designs that feels elegant without needing a lot of extra layers or fuss. I love how the Bloom Boutique suite can go from bold and layered to clean and delicate just by changing up the colors and layout a little bit!

For this card, I started with a Thick Basic White card base and layered another piece of Basic White cardstock on top. Along the bottom portion, I added a panel of Barely Blush cardstock to keep the design feeling soft and subtle. I also stamped a small star image around the background in Barely Blush ink for a little extra detail without overwhelming the focal point.

The flowers are stamped with Crisp Cantaloupe and Golden Glow inks using two-step stamping, which gives them such beautiful depth and softness. I really love how these colors work together — cheerful but still elegant. The detailed greenery is die cut from the new In Color Pearlized Specialty Paper in Peaceful Pine, and the shimmer on those leaves is SO pretty in person!

The sentiment is stamped in Secret Sea ink for a little contrast, and I finished the card with a few Clear Epoxy Dots for a clean and polished look.

If you want a clean and simple card to still feel detailed, try adding subtle tone-on-tone stamping in the background. It creates interest without taking attention away from your focal image.
