Happy Friday! Today I’ve got a super fun technique to share with you, using a background stamp! The stamp I’m using in today’s card is the Festive Foliage stamp set in the 2021-22 Annual Catalog from Stampin’ Up!
Such a stunning Christmas card that only took minutes to make! Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen are the stars of this card, and the sentiment is from the For Unto Us stamp set, which is returning from last year’s Holiday Catalog.
To create the background, I inked up the background stamp with Evening Evergreen ink and then spritzed it with water. After it was wet, I stamped it onto a piece of Watercolor Paper. How gorgeous!!! To finish it off, I embellished it with the Red Rhinestones.
MEASUREMENTS
Soft Succulent Cardstock
- 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored in half at 4-1/4″
Basic White Cardstock
- 5″ x 3-3/4″
- 5-1/4″ x 4″ for the Inside
Watercolor Paper
- 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″
Evening Evergreen Cardstock
- 2-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ for the Sentiment
