Summer Happiness Bundle Card with a Sunset Scene

I couldn’t resist pairing the Summer Happiness Bundle with this gorgeous Scenic Coast Designer Series Paper. The sunset does all the heavy lifting on this card, so I kept the rest of the design simple. Sometimes the prettiest paper just needs a few little accents to finish it off!

For this card, I started with a Secret Sea card base and covered the front with a piece of the Scenic Coast Designer Series Paper. That sunset is just too pretty to hide! I stamped the sentiment from the Sending Salutations stamp set in Secret Sea ink onto a Basic White circle from the Stylish Shapes dies and popped it up with Dimensionals.

To tie everything together, I added a pair of sunglasses cut from Secret Sea cardstock and Lunar Lustre paper, along with flip flops cut from Melon Mambo and Barely Blush cardstock. I finished it off with a few Barely Blush dots from the 2026–2028 In Color Dots pack. I love how those little summer touches make it feel like you’re sitting on the beach watching the sun go down.

When you’re working with a bold piece of Designer Series Paper, let it be the star. A simple sentiment and just a few die cut accents are often all you need to create a finished card.
